Baby Echidna

Materials:
A -Worsted Weight Yarn
B - Fuzzy type yarn.
Size 4.0mm crochet hook
6mm black doll eyes
Polyester stuffing material
Embroidery Needle

Pattern is made in continuous rounds, do not join stitches at the end of each round.

Finished size: approx 2.5” high

Body
With A, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 4 sc in first chain. Mark first st for beg of rnd; move marker up every rnd.
Rnd 2: Sc in each sc around – 4 sc.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; repeat from * around – 6 sc.
Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2 sc; repeat from * around – 8 sc.
Rnd 6: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 7: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 3 sc; repeat from * around – 10 sc.
Rnd 8: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 4 sc; repeat from * around – 12 sc.
Rnd 9: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; repeat from * around – 18 sc.
Rnd 10: Sc in each sc around. End off A.
Rnd 11: Join B. *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2 sc; repeat from * around – 24 sc.
Rnd 12: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 3 sc; repeat from * around – 30 sc.
Rnds 13-17: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 18: *Sc2tog, sc in each of next 3 sc; repeat from * around – 24 sc.
Rnd 19: *Sc2tog, sc in each of next 2 sc; repeat from * around – 18 sc.
Rnd 20: *Sc2tog, sc in next sc; repeat from * around – 12 sc.
Stuff firmly
Rnd 21: *Sc2tog; around – 6 sc.
Fasten off.

Feet (make 4)
With A, ch2
Dc, 3trc, dc into second sc from hook.
Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew to body.

Finishing
Sew feet to body.
Note: echidna’s hind feet point backwards.

Pumpkin


I used worsted weight yarn and a 3.5mm hook.

Body
With orange, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first chain. Mark first st for beg of rnd; move marker up each rnd.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around – 12 sc.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; repeat from * around – 18 sc.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2 sc; repeat from * around – 24 sc.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 3 sc; repeat from * around – 30 sc.
Rnds 6-10: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 11: *Sc2tog, sc in each of next 3 sc; repeat from * around – 24 sts.
Rnd 12: *Sc2tog, sc in each of next 2 sc; repeat from * around – 18 sts.
Rnd 13: *Sc2tog, sc in next sc; repeat from * around – 12 sts.
Stuff firmly.
Rnd 14: *Sc2tog; around – 6 st
Fasten off leaving long tail.
With a needle, thread the tail up through the centre of the pumpkin and back several times and pull tight to create a flattened shape.

Stalk
With green Ch 5
3 dc into second chain from hook, sc into next three ch.
Fasten off and leave long tail to attach to pumpkin.

Attach stalk to pumpkin and use felt or buttons to make eyes and sew mouth with thread.

Another Little Skull

Free crochet patter amigurumi skull
Alas, poor Yorick!
Another little skull for halloween.

I used worsted weight yarn and a 3.5mm hook.
Finished size approx. 2” tall.

Ch2
Rnd 1: 6 sc into first ch – 6 st
Rnd 2: 2 sc into each sc around-12 st
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; repeat from * around – 18 st
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2 sc; repeat from * around - 24 st
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 3 sc; repeat from * around - 30 st
Rnd 6-9: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 10: *Sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc; repeat from * around – 24 sts.
Rnd 11: *Sc2tog; around -12 st
Rnd 12-14: Sc in each sc around.
Stuff firmly.
Rnd 15: *Sc2tog; around -6 st
Fasten off. Sew on buttons, beads or felt circles for eyes, and embroider features in contrasting thread.

Little Skull Amigurumi

This is my first pattern, so pretty simple. Hope you like it.
